How Service Cost Savings are Calculated

Truck Rolls per Year: This is calculated by multiplying the number of service technicians, average service calls per tech per day, the working weeks per year and 5 workdays per week.
Preventative Maintenance Truck Rolls per Year: This is calculated by multiplying the number of truck rolls per year by the percent of truck rolls that are scheduled preventative maintenance.
Break/Fix Truck Rolls: This is calculated by subtracting truck rolls per year by the number of preventative maintenance truck rolls per year.
Cost of Preventative Maintenance Service: This is calculated by multiplying the number of preventative maintenance truck rolls per year by the cost per truck roll.
Cost of Break/Fix Service: This is calculated by multiplying the cost of break/fix service by the cost per truck roll.
Cost of Service Delivery: This is calculated by adding the cost of break/fix service and cost of preventative maintenance service.
Number of Truck Rolls Potentially Eliminated: This is calculated by adding the total number of PM services that are unnecessary, PM services that could be performed by customers with remote support, break/fix services that could be performed by customers with remote support, calls that are 'No Fault Found' when technicians arrive and calls that could be triaged before a truck rolls.
Potential Bottom Line Impact by Shifting Left: This is calculated by taking the value of Number of Truck Rolls Potentially Eliminated and multiplying it by the cost of a truck roll.
Estimated Percentage Savings: This is calculated by dividing the Potential Bottom Line Impact by Shifting Left value by the cost of service delivery.
