Account Executive


As an Account Executive at Bolt Data, you’ll be at the heart of our sales and marketing efforts. Reporting to the Vice President of Sales, you will be responsible for prospecting, strategic account planning, building executive relationships, discovering opportunities, assessing solutions, and collaborating with partners. Your mission: to acquire new customers and secure bookings.

Focus selling areas include: 

  1. Professional Services: Offering comprehensive Salesforce services, including implementation, managed services, custom development, and accelerators.
  2. IoT Software: Our native Salesforce IoT software, Bolt Data Connect, enables real-time monitoring and automated service and sales responses for connected assets.
  3. Legal Services Software: Our latest innovation, a Salesforce-based solution for law firms and legal teams to manage cases and legal matters.


  • Partner with internal teams to create strategies that address customer needs, emphasizing business value and ROI.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to close new business opportunities and expand existing accounts within your territory.
  • Gain a deep understanding of potential clients' business requirements to ensure a perfect match with Bolt Data’s offerings.
  • Clearly articulate the benefits of Bolt Data solutions to all levels within a prospect's organization.
  • Customize sales presentations and documents to highlight the business value of Bolt Data and our partner solutions.
  • Cultivate a robust pipeline and foster relationships with partner contacts to ensure predictable and consistent outcomes.
  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets.
  • Draft detailed SOWs that accurately reflect customer needs and how Bolt Data will meet them.


  • 4+ years of full-cycle software or technology sales experience.
  • Experience with strategic account planning.
  • Consultative solution selling and business need discovery experience.
  • Polished written and oral communication skills, with a strong executive presence.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships with CXOs, senior line-of-business and IT executives, as well as operational managers.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace products, including Docs, Slides, Drive, etc.
  • Ability to travel within the United States at least once a month.


  • Experience selling Salesforce or Salesforce Partner products or services.
  • Prefer working in a close-knit team environment and believe in “winning as a team.”
  • Experience selling to small and medium-sized businesses or commercial accounts.
  • Experience in any of the following subject matters:
    • Internet of Things (IoT)
    • Manufacturing
    • Field Service
    • Healthcare and Life Sciences
    • Legal Services


  • We offer a competitive base salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 per year plus commission (no cap) with flexibility to offer a higher amount for the ideal candidate who exceeds our expectations.

  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and located in the U.S.
  • Must be available during standard business hours (9:00 AM EST to 5:00 PM EST).
  • This is a full-time, fully remote position with business travel required.
