Bolt Data Better Together Committee Sets Sights on the Holidays with Community Initiatives

With the goal of improving the lives of its employees and the communities they reside in, Bolt Data has plans to make this holiday season extra special.

Bolt Data is a Salesforce implementation partner and technology solution provider that develops tailored solutions for enterprise organizations.

In addition to empowering service professionals to accomplish more through the power of artificial intelligence, IoT connected assets, and service implementations on Salesforce, Bolt Data empowers its employees to give back to their communities.

In April 2022, Bolt Data announced the creation of its employee-led give-back program, Bolt Data Better Together. This virtual committee brings its employees from all over the United States and Canada together for the greater good.

“This is our program’s first holiday season and we’re excited to shift our focus from the busyness of this time of year to what’s truly important, giving back to those in need,” said Lela VanLoon, Better Together’s committee leader. “We believe that by coming together, we can achieve incredible things and our belief is the driving force behind our holiday initiatives.”

Harvesters Community Food Network

Starting with Thanksgiving, Bolt Data Better Together is donating funds to Harvesters—The Community Food Network, a certified member of Feeding America.

This Kansas City, MO-based organization is close to Bolt Data’s headquarters in Manhattan, Kansas, and provides food and household products to more than 760 nonprofit agencies. These agencies include emergency food pantries, community kitchens, homeless shelters, children’s homes and others.

Additionally, in November and December, Bolt Data Better Together is supporting Toys for Tots by holding a virtual toy drive. Morena Kubat, Better Together committee member, along with other team members in the Atlanta, GA area, will deliver the donations to the local collection warehouse.

“This time of year can be especially stressful for those in need and we’re hopeful our holiday initiatives will lessen those burdens and give people a reason to smile,” added Lela. “Our team at Bolt Data is committed to giving back to the communities they reside and our efforts are a testament to that.”
