Bolt Data’s Better Together Committee Spreads Holiday Cheer Across Three Cities

This holiday season, Bolt Data's employee-led give-back program, Better Together, is once again spreading joy in communities through its toy drive in support of Toys for Tots.

Isaac Votta, Technical Architect

Isaac Votta, a toy drive volunteer, expressed his excitement for the program's second holiday season, "This is an opportunity for us to shift our focus from the hustle and bustle of the season to what truly matters—giving back to those in need. I'm amazed by the support from our Bolt Data team across the U.S. Our team has been incredibly generous, going all in to make the holidays special for so many."

While last year's initiative supported Toys for Tots in Atlanta, GA, this year Bolt Data Better Together has expanded its efforts to reach three cities: New Smyrna Beach, FL, Tampa, FL, and Philadelphia, PA. The committee recognizes the significance of spreading holiday cheer, and this expansion allows Bolt Data to make a difference in the lives of even more children and teenagers.

Volunteers Lela VanLoon and Karen Mehal have led toy donation collections and deliveries across Florida.

Karen Mehal, SVP of Customer Success

Karen shared, "So many children and teens have basic necessities on their lists, so I encourage everyone to consider donating to their local Toys for Tots Chapters or any local organization to help alleviate those burdens." Lela added, "Bolt Data remains committed to giving back to the diverse communities where our team members reside, and this year's expanded efforts reflect that ongoing dedication."

About Toys for Tots
Toys for Tots, a 70-year national charitable program run by the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, provides happiness and hope to disadvantaged children during each Christmas holiday season. The toys, books and other gifts collected and distributed by the Marines offer these children recognition, confidence and a positive memory for a lifetime. It is such experiences that help children become responsible citizens and caring members of their community. Last year the Marine Corps fulfilled the holiday hopes and dreams of 7 million less fortunate children in 792 communities nationwide. Since 1947 over 244 million children have been assisted.
